This week Cindy Sheehan and the "Bring Them Home Now" tour came through Philadelphia. On Friday night they held an anti-war rally on Independence Mall, and we (the missus, the eight-year-old, and myself) were there.
The missus already posted her thoughts on the rally, and I can't add much to her write-up. I was amazed at how accessible Mrs. Sheehan was. We walked up to her behind the stage and she was very kind and very down-to-earth. I thanked her for all she has done and told her just how impressed I am with her ability to react quickly to knock down the wall of spin used to protect the Bush administration.
Anyway, I had my camera, and I've created a photo album. Most of the photos have some more my thoughts on the night.

Great photos. I read Dee's blog and she did cover it quite nicely. What an amazing experience to have as a family. I hope the 8 y/o never forgets.
