Another day, another meme. Two, actually. After Scott tagged me, I was tagged (again!) by Karen. I promise that this blog won't become all meme all the time, but these two are music-based and I won't rest until my readers know every single song in my music collection.
I'm going to do Scott's questions first since Karen's meme is full of ultra-unbelievably difficult questions that require more soul-searching thought they I can provide right now.
I posted a meme a while back that shared the same first question as the one in Scott's post (which he titled "Musical Baton" on his blog). But my music collection has grown since then, and besides, he tagged me. I'm too flattered by being recognized by the self-proclaimed "most influential blogger in Philadelphia" to say no.
Here goes:
Total size of music files on my computer:
I've been dreaming of buying a 160 Gig swap-able external hard-drive for the laptop so I can access all of my digital music on any computer. For now, these are the totals I have on my work computer.
3323 songs, 8.5 days worth of sound, 9.6 Gigs of space.
The last CD I bought was:
In The Clear by Ivy (after seeing them in concert).
Song playing right now in my MediaPlayer:
"Born" by Over The Rhine from the Paste Magazine Sampler #15.
Five songs I listen to a lot:
I almost always listen to whole CDs, not individual songs (unless I'm doing a Friday Random Ten). Off the top of my head, here are five songs that get me hitting the "repeat" button when they come on:
"Badlands" - Bruce Springsteen
"Summer Teeth" - Wilco
"I've Been Everywhere" - Johnny Cash
"Feel" - Big Star
"Mahgeeta" - My Morning Jacket.
Now I'm supposed to tag others to do this but, like I said yesterday, I'd rather not do that. I'm just not that influential of a blogger. So I'll open it to everyone and anyone. If you end up posting it on you blog come back and let us know.
Now I've got to start thinking of my answers to Karen's questions.
Am so glad to be stumbling into so many great local bloggers lately. Love your digi photos!
