Why is it that when kids want to make themselves look "more handsomer," the first thing they think of changing is their hair?
This weekend it was the four-year-old's turn to discover the bathroom scissors and partake in that universal rite of passage of taking a little lot off the top.
The missus was home alone with him and didn't have the camera available for an immediate post-trauma photo, so all we have are ones of him after a neighbor tried to minimize the damage with a close close close crew-cut (this just days after we paid for him to get a real haircut).
I know it's blurry, but if you look real hard you can see where the boy took it right down to the scalp.
The missus' fear of Internet stalkers prevents me from showing you the full effect this whole mishap has had on my child's overall appearance, but picturing actor Pruitt Taylor Vince with blond hair should give you a pretty good idea of his new, more handsomer, look.
Now that's funny!
I think his hair cut attempt was fine. The circle tattoo and bald! lettering is a little much. I'm surprised that the tattoo parlor let him get the ink done without parental consent.

In the missus' eyes, his head might as well have all those tattoos on it! She seems a little too insistent on his wearing a hat outside for it to be just because of the cold weather.

Awww... there's nothing he could do to make himself less handsome and adorable. As rites of passage go, this one is mild.

HaHa!! You have got to send the full face unblurry versions to me via email. I won't kidnap him unless I can leave one of my own children in his place.
